If you are a primary school teacher, this course is for you.

The most giving people are often the most depleted. I have sat with many teachers who arrived at my door exhausted, burnt out, running on empty. I have watched them leave feeling like themselves again. What you will find here was built for exactly that.

The course was shaped by my own work with children and teachers, by the insights of primary school teachers currently working in Irish schools, and grounded in current Irish national policy and recent research on children's wellbeing and self-regulation.

  • You feel overwhelmed, drained, or close to burnout
  • You want practical tools you can use in your classroom straight away
  • You want to better support your pupils' emotional regulation and wellbeing
  • You work with children with additional or diverse needs
  • You want evidence-informed, trauma-sensitive, inclusive approaches
  • You are ready to make yourself a priority, not an afterthought.

Clio Byrne, Music Therapist, Yoga Teacher and Vocal Coach

Your facilitator

Hi, I'm Clio Byrne

Music Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Vocal Coach, and wellness facilitator. I have worked with children and adults for many years, helping them feel grounded.

For over ten years I ran my own music school, working with children of all abilities. I spent years collaborating with specialist centres for children with additional needs, learning how the body holds stress, and how simple, well-chosen practices can shift a child's entire experience of the day.

Today I run a wellness centre offering classes, workshops and retreats. Many of the adults who find their way to me are teachers. People who give so much of themselves that they've lost touch with their own sense of ease. This course was created for you.

Primary School Teacher, Dublin

"

I use the breathwork every morning with my class now. The difference in the room is extraordinary. Even the most unsettled children respond to it.

"

Something about being given permission to look after myself, as a teacher, changed everything. I didn't expect it to affect me so personally.
